OUTREACH

Into our city and the world.

Jesus’ Great Commission actually assumes that His people are going in order to make disciples (Matthew 28:19). We want to do our part in answering Jesus’ call by focusing our local and global outreach in three strategic areas:

  • Empowering the Vulnerable, providing awareness, intervention, rehabilitation and community care for persons at risk
  • Strengthening the Church, providing training, encouragement, and mentoring for church planters, pastors, and local church leaders
  • Raising Up the Next Generation, reaching and discipling children, youth and students

We accomplish this by partnering with church and ministry leaders in our city and around the world, sending short-term teams to work alongside them, and by responding strategically to the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs we discover together.

LOCAL OUTREACH

Foster Care & Adoption

Arizona Faith and Families

It is the mission of Arizona Faith and Families to recruit foster and adoptive parents from within the Christian church, to train and license them within a biblical world view, and to equip them to serve their Savior, home, church, and community.

Christian Family Care

We see a future where every vulnerable child is loved and nurtured in a Christ-centered family. To make that vision a reality, Christian Family Care partners with families, churches, and caring neighbors like you to provide comprehensive adoption and foster care services, along with extensive counseling and support programs for children, families, and women struggling with unplanned pregnancies.

Get Involved:

  1. Become a foster family
  2. Mentor a child in foster care
  3. Serve at one of our events that are hosted throughout out the year at Illuminate and elsewhere.

Addictions and Recovery

Teen Challenge & Springboard

Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch helps boys, ages 14 – 17 1/2, recover from various issues that are causing them to seriously damage their future or their physical or emotional well-being.  We help boys who are self-destructing due to trauma, adoption issues, negative peer influences, abuse, or substances that are controlling their life.

Our goal at Springboard is to provide a warm, loving, nurturing and structured environment for the young ladies… an environment in which they can grow and overcome their life-controlling issues while developing a well-rounded and disciplined life. Through curriculum, counseling and ministry, we strive to reunite the entire family into healthy and loving relationships. We address both the issues that created the current crisis as well as providing tools to avert crisis in the future.
